The Computer Engineering or Bachelor of in Computer Engineering was established in 1427 H in the southern region to prepare cadres of computer engineers qualified with knowledge, concepts, and scientific research methods, methods of diagnosis, interpretation and analysis that enable them to find solutions for many of the problems facing the administrative and industrial sector in the Kingdom. This preparation is done through the study of computers, operating systems, software programming, algorithms, databases, computer networks, digital communications, digital design, logical circuits, etc. This remarkable preparation for graduates is obvious through the graduation projects, which include both the hardware and software components which are linked to the real needs of the community.

Vision

The Computer Engineering or Bachelor in Computer Engineering should be a pioneering reference model in computer engineering field in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Computer Engineering program should be a pioneering reference model for the private higher education institutions in the discipline of computer engineering in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing bachelor in computer engineering degree is qualifying high school diploma or its equivalent from inside or outside the Kingdom.

That no more than five years have passed since obtaining a high school diploma or its equivalent and should not have been dismissed for disciplinary or academic reasons from one of the public or private universities
